New Procedure for New DVDs

We have decided to load NEW DVDs while we are loading Quick Flicks. 

 

You will now find NEW DVDs on the shelf in the AMH room next to the Quick Flicks. 

 

Remember that NEW DVDs that are in the reserves bin have holds on them so don't put them on the New DVD shelf; leave them in the bin for the circ. staff to retrieve. Only take QFs from the reserves bin to put on the QF shelf. 

 

When loading fiction DVDs onto a cart, set the NEW DVDs aside and then place them on the shelf next to the QFs. There is not a lot of room on this shelf so if the shelf is filling up, go ahead and load them into the LAS. We should be doing this many times a day.

 

Open and check all materials on this shelf before loading them into the LAS (<--pages)or checking them out to patrons(<--- FM&M staff).
