You may remember from the April 24th post that new audio CDs were in danger of becoming extinct due to increased checkouts or aliens eating them, (my money is on the aliens). Though our new audio CDs and DVDs are starting to make a comeback there is always the danger that their numbers may dwindle again. In order to combat increased usage or alien mylar consumption our new audio CDs and new DVDs will remain new for one year. Due to a faster reproductive cycle or less relative use our books on tape and books on CD will only be new for six months. Our video tapes are never new, but do have a loyal following.
