Apparently the new program running on the LAS needs an earlier wake up call. So, if you are one of the first AV pages/ shelvers on in the morning please turn on the LAS computers. Just open the cupboard under the monitor and push the start button. It should start up by itself. This will allow more time for the LAS computers to stretch and wake up before they face the unrelenting public. Unlike you it can't just jolt awake with a cup of coffee.LIFE and Death in the LAS
You may have noticed that some of the LAS sections have moved around. The Horror, Mystery, Fantasy, SciFi, and Westerns, thinking they were more interesting than the rest, beat down the International movies, so they could move into the prime M section. International films, licking their wounds, quietly retreated to the N and O sections. The Comedy DVDs, lovers not fighters, were all to happy to relax and spread across the P and Q sections. Whether or not we think the new borders are fair we'll just have to adjust to the new arrangement until the next dispute, hopefully not for awhile, reorganizes them again.Photo modified from I See Modern Britain
