Taking breaks

Just a reminder about taking breaks. 

If you work 3 hours or more you need to take a 15 minute break. This is a paid break.

If you work 5 hours or more you must take a 30 minute break. This is an unpaid break that you punch out for. This break can be more than 30 minutes but must be at least 30 minutes.

 

 

Preschool Books

 

The preschool books are moving!

In order to make room for the new Children's Museum play spot, the Preschool collection needs to move. While we are moving the collection we are going to make some changes.

We will expand the preschool collection to include three more concepts (Colors, Shapes, Opposites). Each collection will get its own call # and will have a color tinted clear label protector over the spine label (Just like our old pbk collection)

Call #s and colors are:

· F Colors - Red

· F Letters - Blue

· F Numbers - Yellow

· F Opposites - Purple

· F Rhymes - Orange

· F Shapes - Green

Spine label example: F Colors AAA (for author’s last name), etc.

The collection will be shelved on the back wall under the wildlife mural. Board books will be shelved on the bottom shelves under the Preschool collection.

Childing Picture Book

The letters P through Z have been moved. They now start where Holiday ends. Do not put any books where the picture books use to be. Those shelves are going away.
