Very important

When you are checking and shelving DVDs, please watch for the different genres. The genres are New, Comedy, Mysteries and Westerns, Scifi, Fantasy, and Horror, Drama and Internationals. The New DVDs are the ones with the blue sticker on the spine. Do not mix the New DVDs with the other genres. The New sticker trumps all other genres. Here is an example. A DVD has a New, International and Mystery sticker on the spine. It would go in the New section, because of the New sticker. When that DVD is no longer new, then it would go in the International section. Another exceptions would be the International section. The Internationals trump every other genre except the New section. Here is an example. A DVD has an international, and comedy sticker on the spine, it would go in the International section. Please make sure that all the International DVDs are in a locked case.

When you are loading a nonfiction cart, do a double check. Make sure that only non-fiction item are on the carts. There have been a lot of items from different departments that have been on the non-fiction carts when they have been brought upstairs. Please check the cart before you bright it up stairs to make sure that there are only non-fiction items on it.

When filling the Quick flick, only put them in the top three rows of section K. Do not intermix Drama with the Quick Flicks. Drama has the two bottom row of that section.
