We have just received intelligence that the LAS has continued to capture DVD holds in the LAS locked shelves. This can prompt confusion when patrons come in to pick up their pulled holds only to find them still in the clutches of the LAS.
We have discovered that there is a pattern to the timing of the hold captures. Everyday at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 6:00 pm the hold list is run. Shortly after this the LAS captures any holds it finds and contacts the customer. If you happen to be working in the library after these times check to see if there are any holds in the LAS. Even if the LAS was just filled there may be captured holds still lurking in the shelves.
