Fun Tech: Animoto

Animoto is a cool website you can use to create short thirty second films for free. You can use your images, music, and text, theirs, or any combination thereof. You can use it for short presentations or to make a commercial for your family, just for fun, or to use in a class. It's easy to start.

First you sign up for the site. Then, you upload your images or choose from theirs. At this point you can add text and arrange the images. It may say you can have up to sixteen images or text, but I've found ten to twelve is more realistic. After you save your images, it will prompt you to load your music or choose from their large library. Add some final notes and it will start rendering your video. What is cool is each time you create a new video it has different transitions. You can even do a new version of the same video by clicking on the one click remix. Once it has created the video, you can watch it, re-edit it , or share it with friends. Here is an example of a video I made using pictures I took and music I chose from the Animoto website.
