The championship took place on July 12, 2009 as part of the American Library Association's annual conference in Chicago.
The "Oak Park Public Library Warrior Librarians" are fighting against illiteracy and intolerance. The music the team chose for the competition is Richard Wagner's "Die Walküre" ("Ride of the Valkyries") performed by the Budapest Concert Orchestra conducted by Tamás Gál.
