Due to our concerted effort the new music CDs were temporarily able to multiply and fill the shelves. However, as they did so the number of Books on CD and Books on Tape have dwindled. While some think this is due to increased usage I believe that aliens with a hunger for crisp plastic and chewy mylar have devoured the unprotected new Books on CD. Where are the new Books on Tape disappearing to? I don't know? Ants? That's not important.What is important is our response to this threat. We must allow the Books on CD and Books on Tape to remain new for nine months. The new DVDs and music CDs will remain new for 12 months. We hope this will give the new materials time to increase their numbers and once again fill the new AV shelves.
